Easter Collection Schedule
Welcome back to our blog series on helping you reduce household waste. From the 1st of July every household in the country will pay for bin collection on a pay by weight basis so reducing the weight in your bins has a financial benefit for your household. In today’s blog post, we address our six top tip for using your recycling bin wisely!

In light of the introduction of new government legislation all households in the country will be paying for their waste on a pay by weight basis from the 1st of July onwards.
Pay by Weight is based on the principle of “the more you waste, the more you pay.” In practice, this also means that if you waste less, you will be rewarded by paying less.
So, “how do we waste less?” we hear you ask! At Barna Recycling, we have decided to provide you with a regular blogpost full of helpful tips on how you can reduce your household waste! Read our first blogpost on smart meal planning and shopping to reduce food waste!
Christmas is the most festive period of the year which means there is plenty of food, Christmas cards, decorations and wrapping paper bought every year. Unfortunately, most of this is wasted or not disposed of properly.
